Pushups for Six Pack Abs

Easy Home Workout Exercises

Whether you want to be shredded and flaunt a set of six pack abs the next time you’re at the beach, or if you’re simply looking for ways of getting a little leaner and healthier, you’ll know that exercise is extremely important. One of the most common excuses that people come up with for not exercising, however, is ‘not having enough time to go to the gym’. If that is indeed true and you don’t have time to head to the gym, does that mean that you should instead sit on your backside on the couch doing nothing? No. The simple fact of the matter is that we can exercise virtually anywhere, at any given time. To prove it, we’ll now be taking a look at some easy home workout exercises that you can do in minutes.

Plank

One of the most effective home workout exercises that you could ever wish for, especially when trying to build up your abs, is the plank. Planks are very simple to perform on paper, yet in reality they’re one of the toughest core exercises in existence. Planks help to strengthen your core by targeting your abs, and your core stabilizer muscles. This means that anybody looking to build a strong and defined six pack would benefit hugely from this exercise. Best of all is the fact that you need very little space to do it.

Push ups

Up next we have one of the most effective compound exercises in existence, especially when it comes to training your chest. Yes, we’re talking about push ups. Push ups are one of the best exercises for targeting the chest, as they help to strengthen your pectoral muscles and increase your overall chest mass and definition. As well as working the chest, you’ll also find that push ups are great for working your triceps as well. This will not only help to improve your chest and physique, it’ll also help to improve your pressing power.

Burpees

Only sadists enjoy doing burpees. Burpees are one of the hardest, most physically demanding exercises in the history of exercise. Burpees are a hybrid exercise that target your core, your upper body, and your lower body. Like a cross between a push up, a leap frog and a star jump, burpees work incredibly well for anybody looking to burn fat, tone up, and strengthen their core.

Crunches

If you’re looking for home workout exercises that you can perform in the comfort of your own home, then regular old stomach crunches work wonders. Crunches are one of the most effective core exercises that you can wish for. If you’re looking for ways of toning up and achieving that much-desired six pack look, stomach crunches are perfect. Not only do they work the upper and lower abs, they also help to target your obliques as well.
